I employed Design-a-loft to do a shell and core loft conversion for me with myself doing the fit out works afterwards. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about Ben and his workforce, they have all been brilliant from day one. The quality of work is 5 star, they are very considerate with all the protection they put down so as not to damage existing finishes and always thoroughly clean up after themselves. I asked for many extras to be done and the costs were always very reasonable. Ben was also very helpful in providing advice on design, building regs compliance etc. I am a Senior Quantity Surveyor

I had a loft conversion recently completed by Ben and his team, Ben comminicated how the project would run with a weekly schedule before it started and it was completed to timescales set, communication was excellent throughout. The workmanship is superb and i am very happy with the finish of my loft room. Now to Ben's team! An absolute pleasure to have in my home and so tidy! They really do take pride in their work and fantastic attention to detail. I worked from home throught my project and there was nothing that they could not work around. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend Design a Loft.

Ben and his team were outstanding from start to finish. The quality of work and craftsmanship is excellent, everything was kept clean and tidy, and the job was all completed on time. Communication and client servicing was first rate - we really felt we were listened to and were kept fully up to speed on progress throughout the project.
Genuinely can't think of any negatives from using Design-a-loft and would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking a loft conversion, you will not be disappointed!

These guys are exceptional!!! Ben helped us turn a very drab, dark bedroom in the roof into an amazing, light and airy space with great built-in wardrobes. I can't fault Ben and his team at all. Customer service was exceptional from every member of his team - whether they were part of Design-a-loft or other contractors. Ben's initial design advice was spot-on, workmanship from his team was incredible (they are all perfectionaists!), tidiness was amazing and they worked conscientiously to the budget! Can't recommend them highly enough!

Could not rate Design-a-loft any more highly. They are a company that truly takes pride in what they are doing, with a proactive approach where nothing is too much trouble. From the off it was clear that Ben runs a well oiled machine, producing a competitive quote 24hours after our initial meeting, as well as taking the time to run over any queries leading up to the start date. Having to reach out to any unknown trade can be a nerve racking experience especially when the costs of something like a large loft conversion are involved and I have to admit I had 3 dreadful companies come to provide quotes that put me off even more. I then found “Design a loft” on line and the big plus for me is that they were a local company with great reviews. I wasn’t disappointed and Bens professional, calm, honest and totally supportive character put me immediately at ease. Design-A-Loft are an efficient, professional and trustworthy team. Our 2 bedroom en-suite loft conversion with bespoke wardrobes was completed swiftly in 7-8 weeks. The team adapted to any last minute project changes with ease. Good quality workmanship throughout. Kept updated during the project as to progress and work completed to deadline. Was recommended to use Design-a-Loft after a family member had their loft done with them! We are extremely happy with the outcome of our loft conversion. The communication throughout was excellent and the team were always available to help with any queries or concerns I had! The work was done in a timely manner with minimal disruption to our lives (considering our roof was ripped off, it’s a pretty great achievement!!). Great example of how a company should be run, they really put us first. Thank you for your great work - would definitely recommend to others!
