Gatley Glass is a family business and we have been trading since 1972. We specialize in fitting high quality windows and doors, all types of glazing and carrying out remedial repairs for domestic and commercial clients. We are also glass merchants, glass processors and hardware suppliers. All our fitters are directly employed by Gately Glass; we do not use sub-contract labour.

Gatley Glass will remove all old materials and make sure the work area is clean and tidy. In accordance with our environmental policy we seek to ensure that, where possible, old materials are recycled.

Services
Gatley Glass supply and install uPVC, timber and aluminium windows. All windows come with the latest energy efficient double glazed units. Our uPVC window frames come fully reinforced asstandard and come with dual position multi-point locking mechanisms. We offer a wide spectrum of colours and styles including lead and bevel glass designs.
Faulty Handles, hinges and any move-able parts on a window or door can result in the window or door being draughty, un-secure and un-sightly thus not providing a fully satisfactory solution. Poorly fitted hinges, mechanisms that don't lock, broken handles and seals that have shrunk can usually be rectified.
Composite doors provide a superior level of security for domestic doors which is increasingly important when protecting your home and your family. In addition to the superior strength, Composite doors come in a variety of stylish glazing options coupled with a variety of colour options. With a realistic wood-grain effect texture, a composite door makes a striking feature of any home.
All can be bought over the counter at our trade desk, alongside putty silicones, beading, architraves and hardware. We also supply and fit double-glazed units, all types of security and fire rated glass, shop fronts to small lead-lights. Our employees are trained in all aspects of glazing and have experience working in commercial/school environments so are aware of all the safety aspects required when working in public places.

Broken glass, broken promises!
I was very happy with the responsiveness of Gatley Glass when my door lock needed repairing. Unfortunately whilst repairing the lock mechanism the operatives accidentally broke the glass in my door. They pointed out it wasn’t safety glass and asked if I wanted both large panes replacing with safety glass. Tim from the office rang me with a price for the repair to the lock and to replace both panes of glass, which I paid over the phone there and then. Tim explained that the glass factory was closed due to COVID and that they’d sort the glass ASAP (which I’d

We had a new window, new kitchen door and new double patio doors. They brought extra men on site in the afternoon so job was finished in the one day which was great. Very pleased with end result. Friendly and respectful fitters with good attention to detail. Competitive price and all in all very easy to from start to finish. So much so we have approached them for some more work. We wanted our 3 bedroomed house double glazed and new front and back doors and the soffits, fascia boards and guttering renewed.
This was quite a big job and the materials provided were good quality and the workmanship by Gatley Glass was of a high standard. We were very pleased with the professional service and the attention to detail. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and would certainly use them again in the future.

Excellent swift service. We had a consultation, they were very professional, did not try to oversell us a product, measured up and got us a quote very quickly without guilting us into buying. They came out cheaper for the same quality than the big brands and were more prepared to answer technical questions regarding the windows and doors. They have given us a fantastic set of windows and a new back door. Our home is already warmer and more full of light. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to use a local company that provide a high quality service.

The initial window and lintel placement went really well. Until it leaked.
Until the poor workmanship allowed water to corrode the lintel and the rust has gone on to stained the window from the inside and out. We have had Gatley Glass out twice since the initial install to 'fix' the issues, which would have been admirable if the 'fixes' actually had worked.
Their methods of repair where as comical and flawed as the initial installation and this is coming from some one with little building knowledge. Their 'technical' staff are basically undertrained apprentices who try to bully existing workmen
