We commissioned Ediwood to design and produce an integrated display and cupboard unit. Zoltan came to look at the space and listened to what we had envisaged. The results were just what we wanted so we had a choice of design. The finished unit is lovely and just fits the space beautifully. We are very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Zoltan and his team have high standards to their work and obviously take pride in producing quality products and happy customers.

Zoltan was very helpful and professional when I was deciding on the best choices for my book Cabinet and desk.His 3D visuals were excellent.
His staff was very professional and helpful during the 2 day installation period that was completed today. I am delighted with the result.The Navy blue book cabinet with wood colour motifs looks stunning. Even my wife could not find fault with either the book cabinet or the desk and that speaks volumes .

I was delighted to find a company that was able to make a bespoke, floor to ceiling, shelving unit for books and space for a mounted TV. I was able to book an appointment using the website and Zoltan was very helpful with design ideas. He kept me informed of timings throughout. The computer drawings he provided for the estimate were very detailed and professional and I was able to have the shelving painted the colour I wanted.
The installation of the unit took much less time than I expected and was finished in less than two days. The result is outstanding, very high quality craftsmanship and beautifully

Of all the cabinet makers I contacted, Ediwood provided the most personalised service and the finished product was excellent. The owner, Zoltan, measured out space under the stairs and returned a quotation with some details 3D diagrams of what he was going to do. We liked the design best and the price was very competitive. Zoltan kept in touch throughout the process and his employee Ian who did the work was very hard working and efficient, especially given the walls and flooring were not completely level. I first met Zoltan when he worked as a finishing joiner on the complete refurbishment of a period flat conversion that I own in Edinburgh city centre.
The project had lots of intricate woodwork and needed more than just a typical joiner - someone with really excellent woodworking skills.
More recently he has made a new panelled door for a vestibule, a decorative cupboard to hide a gas meter, lovely stained doorway thresholds (to match an antique balustrade/handrail), and rehung/adjusted and draught proofed doors.
He is polite, courteous, always full of ideas and sound advice, is very neat and

We are delighted with our loft ladder. With the high ceilings of an Edinburgh tenement flat, an 'off the shelf' ladder was not an option so we needed a bespoke solution to get up to our loft. EDIWOOD took measurements, prepared a ladder in the workshop and then came to our home to install it - which didn't take long and leaving no mess. The ladder is just what we'd hoped for - safe, easy to use, easy to store, looks attractive and beautifully finished workmanship. Excellent customer service, personable, friendly and professional. Strongly recommend and would use EDIWOOD again
