Won't be going back. I am in my late twenties and suffer from arthritis and many other various mobility conditions I've had my whole life. After enquiring after a mobility scooter, I was asked "For you, are you sure?" and told "You're much too young for one of those." I felt judged and talked down to.
The staff here need to learn not all disabilities are visible and not all disabled people are old. While I expect that kind of reaction sometimes in other environments the place I'd least expect it would be a mobility shop.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
We bought a power chair from Glenmore who falsley advised that it was suitable for our needs.I have MS and trusted faith with their advice My occupational therapist then advised me it wasn't suitable so l contacted the manager Keith .He offered me only a 1/3 of what l payed , l agreed as it was the only option l had and he never got back.
After my partner calling at leat 11 times to discuss with Keith, who was always unavailable and never returned.
Lockdown happened so we waited till shops were open again. I left a message for Keith who called me back and said the offer

Be very careful of this company
Be very careful of this company. We went to see them about an electric chair for my disabled wife, we were told they did not do finance but offer a trust payment where a deposit is paid and you pay the remainder of the value up on a monthly basis. After 2 letters, an email and a visit to there Bathgate warehouse we eventually found out how much it was costing £1,495, there was no paperwork, no guarantee, no VAT relief for disabled. We had initially asked for a suite and 2 chairs but got the chair first due to the salesman Steve not having a clue what he was doing

Not as helpful as I expected. I had already paid over £60 for a service and a few days later I had problems with the scooter not working but they wanted another sixty odd pound to come out to see what the problem was. I said I thought the first payment would cover it but no they wanted more money. Totally disappointed with their greed.

I cannot speak more highly of Glenmore Mobility. After a rapid deterioration in my mother's health which meant that other services couldn't keep pace, I was able to hire a hospital bed and riser-recliner chair at extremely short notice from Glenmore Mobility. They were able to deliver it in record time and then made sure to collect it on the day that the more permanent equipment was arriving so that my house wasn't too full of furniture. The guys could not have been more kind or helpful. I strongly recommend them to anyone finding themselves in a similar position.

Excellent service once we got inside the shop. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Only problem is lack of assured parking at the shop. There is a short layby but it was full when we first arrived. Drove around the same streets four times before finding a parking space came free outwith the shop. My partner can't walk far, we had gone to the shop to buy a wheelchair, so parking further afield was not an option.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I have used Glenmore on lots of occasions to purchase mobility products for my father. The staff in this business are so knowledgeable and have always given me the best advice possible when choosing a product and they are very kind and patient with my dad. We have bought a riser/recliner chair, wheelchair, electric bed, walker, slippers, incontinence products and bathing aids all of which were recommended by the staff and have helped our father maintain what independence he has left. The staff are absolutely wonderful and have really helped our family through

I wanted a mobility scooter to make it easier to visit family in west lothian on the bus. It took ages to get a price as the assistant said she didn't know how much the scooter cost ,which to me sounded like a lie ,as the staff had worked in the company for years. I was quoted £1800 which eventually came down to £1300 with a coupon I got out the newspaper. There was no instructions with the scooter , but I asked at the shop and they gave me a booklet on mobility scooters.I recieved a booklet for a class 3 scooter.later I asked If Icould exchange the scooter a class 3 ,for a smaller class 2 but

Took me forever to get an overall price for my scooter . Scooter damaged on delivery . Broken head rest , wrong basket. Said possible trade in on my old scooter but didn't even look at old scooter even after several calls . Requested spare key as he held one And even though I've paid in full still no key . It is very to get a price on power chair/ scooter as it is way more profitable to lease over minimum 3 year period.
