Money hungry scammers. I’ve made an appointment to have a filter replaced on a washing machine. I was given an appointment 2 weeks later and the filter was replaced and have paid for the parts and call out fee. The engineer left without testing my washing machine, My washing machine then started leaking on the same afternoon and I’ve phoned the company who said they will bring out the engineer back out. He came and loosened the filter which was stuck and said you have to use a plier to ram it shut. Then hypothesised the leak must have came from hardened detergent in the detergent box. Then

More than happy to give a shout out to this local business. Was in a bit of stressed state as needed to get my kitchen appliance fixed as soon as possible. Initially spoke to Deepak, was reassuring that that everything will be resolved, first offered to have an engineer come out but only slot available was Tuesday, so other option offered was if I bring in my appliance myself on Monday to the store and guaranteed and someone would have a look Monday morning. In the meantime, I spoke to Franco from sales on what options I have to replace the appliance if it can’t be fixed, he was super helpful

BEWARE! If they can manage a successful repair, this may be a good service, however, if they deem that something can't be repaired (even when proved wrong) they will charge you anyway... RIP OFF! While a fixed price repair is offered, that is very much not what was delivered for me when I took my kitchen appliance in for repair. Despite claiming to be experts and proclaiming that "we’ll fix it quickly, easily and for a price you can afford", what they actually did was: no work; confirm what I told them when taking the appliance in for repair (that an external part was broken and needed replacing

My washing machine became unserviceable over the Christmas period and I was very pleased to find Capital Repairs were open to take calls and I could book a visit in. Salah who came to repair the washing machine was extremely helpful and resolved my issues and I was back up and running. I had been worried that I would have to wait until after the holiday season to get the repair done. I can recommend this company.

Needed my Rangemaster cooker checked and repaired for suspected gas leaks. Capital Repairs and their employees are a credit to the industry. Best service in my long experience. Brilliant, enthusiastic call centre staff. They answered every one of my calls within 2 rings - absolutely unheard of in modern call centre days.

COWBOY OPERATION!
I am totally in shock with this company!
I paid £132 for a call out fee to repair our smeg oven. I was shocked by the high price but was desperate so proceeded with the job.
The engineer arrived (very nice man. This is not a negative review on him but the company) and it took him the press of a button to reset the oven! Much as I was annoyed with myself that it was such a simple fix yet I had paid this extortionate price, I had agreed the call out price and didn’t quibble at the price.
He then went on to look at my various other appliances to offer advice to ensure longevity

I received a First class service from this Company. The process from start to finish was An Excellent Customer Service. When you booked the appointment the person who booked explained the process and when Jason came to assess and fit the part which was ordered and received and my oven was foxed all within a week Jason was very polite and professional and explained what the problem with oven was and showed me the part that was causing the issue. Highly recommend this company for its Excellent Customer Service.

Its been few weeks now, since we had someone coming to check on our fridge freezer. I am very disappointed and feel scammed by the engineer working for Capital Repairs. I had a problem with the freezer. Before the engineer came, we took out the refrigerator and cleaned the back from the dust to make it easier for the engineer. But, he just opened the fridge, unscrewed couple of screws and said it would cost us £ 400 to fix if we want to repair it. His summoning to check on the freezer already cost us £102, just for his 10-15 minutes
