Trustguard quickly diagnosed the cause of my mould problems and recommended the solution of a PIV in my loft, without adding on expensive extras that other companies had recommended. I was impressed by the no frills approach, there was no 'hard sell' of their products & services, just a simple suggested solution, followed by a prompt install. There was an initial delay in communications when trying to contact Don for a quote, but I suspect they are in high demand and once we were in touch, things progressed quickly and smoothly. Don was patient with my numerous questions due to my unfamiliarity

Rang just to get a quote, everywhere else I'd enquired had told me a quote of upwards of £100. The fella on phone at trust guard first enquired exactly as to what the issue was (what I was seeing etc) and then explained very kindly what the exact problem was, that I didn't need a damp specialist and pointed me in direction of who I did need and saved me a lot of money as a result!
Very genuine & very knowledgeable staff. If I ever do have an issue with damp again, these will be the first people I will call.

Had a damp proofing course following a pre-purchase damp & timber survey. The price was very fair and was priced based on the size of the walls rather than a day rate which we preferred. Work which we were told from others would be messy and disheartening was done in a day and a half by John who never stopped and always left the room spotless throughout. After decorating you could never tell there were any issues nor where the plaster met the wall. Overall a very professional experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends!

From start to finish Don was very professional, giving us good product info about the PIV unit. He himself installed the unit and a couple of days later the electrician wired it all in. Within days we noticed no condensation on our windows even with the cold snap we've had. Expecting the same results in our loft. Excellent service , would highly recommend.

I would recommend this company to anyone. Don came to see the job I needed doing (an area of rising damp) and explained everything to me. I got a quote the same day and agreed to the price. Due to a cancellation the work has been completed in one day within the week and to a very high standard. John who did the work was friendly and courteous and just got on with the job. I am really happy with the finished result. The plastering finish is excellent. The hallway was left in a very clean condition. A job very well done.

Great company came out and inspected home which had high amount of condensation on window upstairs and down , they fitted a PIV unit to my4 bedroom home and now we have no condensation on the windows, very happy with price quoted and the lads done a great job with no mess .

Don did a wall tie inspection on a house I'm currently buying. The surveyor had flagged a possible issue with the wall ties so I needed a specialist to check them out. Don's time and expertise cost me £100 but it was money very well spent. Free wall tie surveys are a false economy as the people doing them are probably just trying to drum up business by doing unnecessary replacements.
Don is clearly an honest guy. I'd recommend him to anyone.
